Elon University Lindner Hall – LEED Gold
Elon, North Carolina
Lindner Hall was built in 2009 and was the first building on Elon’s campus to acheive LEED Gold. The 35,500 square foot building houses the College of Arts and Science and consists of classrooms, offices and conference rooms.
Lindner Hall has low-flow and no-flow plumbing fixtures installed throughout the building, reducing water usage considerably. Occupancy sensors and varied light level options allow for lower lighting levels and reduced energy costs and solar panels installed on the roof allow for solar water heating.
