In 2009, this elementary school underwent major renovations and additions. The additions included a new media center, art, music and standard classrooms. A new entry way to the school was constructed as well. Existing classrooms and administrative wings were renovated. The school had an electrical service upgrade and a new addressable fire alarm system was installed. Energy efficient lighting with occupancy controls, as well has energy efficient HVAC systems were installed in the addition and through out the existing building. Low flow plumbing fixtures and a rainwater collection system were also installed.
