This performance contract project improved the indoor air quality while reducing energy use in this iconic facility. During the design phase, the conditioning parameters were adjusted to meet the more rigorous standards required for a planned Monet Exhibit. By replacing the main chiller plant, providing a dedicated outside air system, upgrading the controls system and reselecting other system components, we were able to surpass the energy savings goal and reduced energy costs by $585,000 annually while improving space conditions.
